Curve Lose First of Six Game Road Swing

Reading’s Michael Spidale hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning off reliever Eric Krebs to break a 1-1 tie as the R-Phils dropped the Curve 3-1 Friday night in Reading. Altoona received a strong pitching performance from lefty Daniel Moskos who pitched six innings allowing just one earned run. The Curve falls to (7-18) and will play game two with the R-Phils tomorrow night.
