Curve Lose to Akron Aeros

The Altoona Curve learned first hand what sloppy defense can do as they committed four errors on the way to a 9-5 loss to Akron in the first of an eight game road trip. Curve starting pitcher Jared Hughes watched seven un-earned runs cross the plate in the third and fourth innings on the way to the loss.
