Fresh Strawberry Pie

1 qt. strawberries
3 cups of strawberry glaze
1 homemade pie crust, either 8 or 9 inch, baked
1 pt. fresh whipped cream
Mash (dice very small) 1/2 of the berries and add 1 and 1/2 cups of strawberry glaze.
Evenly spread this on the bottom of the crust.
Arrange the remaining whole berries in the cooled baked pie crust (point side up).
Take the remaining strawberry glaze and heat in a small pan. Add enough water to think the glaze so it will pour easily.
Cool mixture. Pour over the whole strawberries. Chill for a few hours. Top with fresh whipped cream or cool whip.
