Queen's Treat

Guest Chef: Meaghan Dieterle, Centre County Grange Fair Queen

Ingredients:


2 cups milk
2 Tbsp. butter
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1/2 lb. Hershey's Chocolate bar
peanut butter


Directions:


Combine milk and butter. Microwave until butter is melted. Set aside. In large bowl, combine flour and sugar. Beat in eggs. Mix in milk and butter. Add baking powder and salt. Beat together. Pour into lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until done. While hot, spread peanut butter on top. Let cool in refrigerator. Melt chocolate and 1 tsp. peanut butter in microwave (takes approx. 1 minute), mix together, then spread on top of peanut butter. Cool in fridge for at least an hour. Keep refrigerated. Cut into squares and serve.
