JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY---A third suspect has been charged in a Johnstown shooting where police said drugs were mailed to the wrong home.
City police filed charges against James Schroll on March 4, 2013. He is allegedly the third suspect involved in a shooting over drugs in Moxham.
Schroll's co-defendants Jason Maines and Charles Meyer were charged last week. Maines posted bail, Meyer is in the Cambria County jail.
Schroll, 38, was shot in the head during a confrontation and remains in the hospital.
Police said the shooting happened because the trio were waiting to pick up a box of marijuana they had mailed to someone else's house. The homeowners apparently found the drugs before they did and turned it into police the day before the shooting.
The homeowner was released from the hospital after being shot in the knee. Schroll remains in the hospital but will be arraigned when he is released.
