Mountain Lion Back Packs Help Kids Fill Up

Schools offer healthy meals for students throughout the school week, but on weekends, many go hungry. The Mountain Lion Back Pack Program is here to help.

On today's show, Organizer Heather Little and Paula Foreman from Altoona Area School District join Dawn to explain how the program works and what types of foods are available for children who are enrolled.

Help Mountain Lion Back Pack Program Get a $20,000 Grant:  Just "like" the program on Facebook to learn about Walmart's "Fighting Hunger Together" campaign.  You will receive instructions on how to vote for Mountain Lion Back Pack Program. Then, vote daily from April 1st through April 30th to help the program win the much needed cash!
