BOLIVAR, WESTMORELAND COUNTY--- A Westmoreland County jury found Clayton Mibroda guilty of third degree murder, but not guilty of first degree murder.

State Police said Clayton Mibroda beat his 20-day old daughter Natalee at a Bolivar home in December 2011.  She later died at Indiana Regional Hospital from internal injuries.

Mibroda took the stand in his own defense Thursday.  He testified he "could have done more to save his daughter but it was actually his girlfriend who shook the baby causing the infants death."

The jury began deliberations Friday afternoon, after a few hours they reached a verdict.

Mibroda will be sentenced at a later date.
