ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - PA residents planning to file a personal income tax return can start filing electronically now.

The Department of Revenue says 76% of the personal income tax returns got filed last year. The department attributes the high number of people e-filing because of the convenience, but it also saves money for the department. You can find free e-filing options below:

padirectfile and TeleFile (1-888-4PAFILE) are currently available through the department's web site at www.revenue.state.pa.us <http://www.revenue.state.pa.us>.
