Low Wages Bad for Blood Pressure

A new study shows a strong connection between low wages and high blood pressure. Researchers in California found the lower pay,  the greater the risk of high blood pressure.

The link was especially strong for women and younger workers.  High blood pressure is linked more often with being older and male.
 
About one in three American adults has the problem.
