World Diabetes Day is on Nov. 14.  To honor that day, Mount Nittany Medical Center's building will be blue.  A special guest will also be presenting a program at the Medical Center that explains a simple proven strategy for weight management-- with weight management being one of the key strategies to prevent and manage diabetes. Barbara Rolls joins Sarah to explain.

Volumetrics is about keeping the same volume of food on a plate but lowering the calorie density.  This way people can lose or maintain weight without feeling as hungry.

For more information visit Mount Nittany Health's website.

You can also submit questions for our Ask the Doctor segment.  Mount Nittany Physician Group Doctor Craig Collison will take yours questions about your child's health. Email us at cpal@wtajtv.com.
