Yellow Ribbon Awareness Day

JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY - Dozens of yellow balloons filled the skies in Johnstown in honor of those who took their lives.

The 8th annual Yellow Ribbon Awareness Day for suicide awareness took place atop the Johnstown Incline Plane.  Family and friends of loved ones who took their lives joined together to remember them this afternoon.

The event was put on by the Cambria County Coroner's Department.  The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention has information on the issue.
