JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- A 21-year old Sheetz employee is gaining a lot of likes on-line for being a Good Samaritan.

Daniel Dabbs has worked at Sheetz for about three years.  Over the weekend he noticed an elderly man who needed a little extra help.

"He looked confused about what was going on," said Dabbs.  "So, I went over to go help him out and walk him through it."

Another person in the store at that very moment noticed Dabb's taking the time to help the man and his patience with him.  They thought it was so nice they posted a comment on-line that is gaining a lot of attention.

"Today around 3pm at the Moxham (Ohio St.) Sheetz in Johnstown, PA, there was a VERY elderly man attempting to order himself something off of the MTO touchscreen. The man couldn't quite figure out how it worked but wanted to order something as he had coupons. A young male employee came out from the kitchen and read everything off of the screen including every topping and sauce option and put his order in for him. The man was hard of hearing but the employee was so very patient with him to ensure that the man got what he wanted. We need more people in the world like him and he truly deserves something for the patience and friendliness that he had today."

"People come in here and they're like you're that kid from Facebook, the 'Sheetz Kid," said Dabbs.  "I never thought it would get this big."

In just a few days over 41,191 people "liked" the comment posted on Sheetz's Facebook page.

"I like helping anyone who needs help its how my parents raised me," said Dabbs.

"You don't get a lot of customer compliments," said Ken Wadsworth, Store Manager.  "This was nice and we are excited for Dan and excited it happened here- makes it personal."

Dabbs said it's cool to be known as the "Sheetz Kid from Facebook," but he hopes it's the message of paying forward that's continued to be "liked."

"When you hear this story- do something nice for someone even if it's something little."
