Amy Gill comes to WTAJ as the Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter. She comes to the area from Twin Falls, Idaho where she spent two years as the Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter. During her time in Twin Falls, Amy was the 2010 Idaho Press Club Rookie of the Year. She covered high school, junior college and 4-year college sports - as well as many outdoor sports.Before her time in Idaho, Amy worked and interned at several stations in Fresno, California, her hometown. She is a graduate of San Francisco State, with a degree in Radio and Television.
In her free time, Amy enjoys cooking, shopping, working out, traveling and visiting home whenever she can.

I really love to cook... when I have the time.

Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco Giants

Traveling and exploring cities

Hopefully still doing sports, and with a family
What was your most memorable interview/weather event/sporting event?
Covering state basketball tournaments in Idaho... it's always hectic going from game to game.

Worked at an ice cream shop
