Tuesday's Tails: July 10

Former racing dogs, Stormy and BooBoo are looking for their new forever homes. Meet them in this week's Tuesday's Tails.
Most racing greyhounds are retired between the ages of two and four years. With a lifespan of twelve to fourteen years they are still in the prime of their life. All dogs at Monica's Heart, Inc. are treated for intestinal parasites and started on preventative medicine for fleas, ticks and heartworm.
Monica's Heart does not have a kennel facility. The dogs are cared for in foster homes until they are adopted. Visitations to meet the dogs can be arranged by calling or emailing to set up an appointment.
Adoption donations of $195 help to offset the cost of the veterinary services, food, transportation costs, medicines, and other incidental charges.

There is a Meet & Greet event in Johnstown at PetCo on Sunday, July 15th.
