Graham Spanier to Work with U.S. Government

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY -- Over the next several months of his sabbatical leave, Dr. Spanier will work on a special project for the U.S. Government relating to national security. There are no specific details available.

The Chronicle of Higher Education reports his new job came about from his work as Chair of the National Security Higher Education Advisory Board.

Spanier was fired by the Penn State Board of Trustees in November over his handling of the Jerry Sandusky case and still lives in State College.
