Local Talent Takes to the High School Hardwood for Altoona Mirror Classic

CRESSON, PA - Blair County and Central PA squared off in the annual Altoona Mirror Basketball Classic on Friday, with the Central PA boys winning 110-77 while the Blair County girls prevailed 88-82.

In the boys match-up, Johnstown's Dwight Andrews earned most valuable player honors with an 18 point performance. Altoona's Danny Moyer was the Blair County MVP with 14 points.

In the girls game, Altoona's Kayla DeCriscio led all scorers with 23 points for Blair county earning MVP honors. Westmont-Hilltop's Gina Rievel was Central PA MVP with 18 points.
