It's Tuesday, which means we have another great edition of Tuesday's Tails, the segment where we feature adorable adoptables from across Central PA.
Centre County PAWS is back in the spotlight this week, with six-year-old Australian Shepherd siblings Kaylee and Fudge. They were used for breeding and have been living outside, so they will need work on how to live indoors, and a little extra help with house training, but the volunteers say they are doing great so far! Kaylee loves to play in water and Fudge can't live without butt scratches and extra treats from the volunteers. They were surrendered because of the owner's medical problems, but they are very eager to please and very easy to fall in love with. Both are great with dogs and cats. PAWS would like to keep these dogs together, but will consider adopting them out separately.
Lisa also talked about the 2nd-Annual Tailgate Party this weekend at PAWS. It will run from 11am-4pm at the shelter (1401 Trout Road, State College). There will be all sorts of activities at the event, and you also get to name your adoption fee for cats. Last year, PAWS adopted out more cats in that weekend, than they did in the entire month.
