- 2 lbs powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup of white corn syrup
Dissolve the gelatin in the cold water, add the corn syrup to the gelatin and water mixture - and microwave just unbtil the mixture warms up (this helps everything dissolve). Add the liquid mixture to the powdered sugar - you may need more than 2 lbs - the fondant should feel like play dough. Add colors to the finished fondant by kneading them in.
