Prepared by the Culinary Arts Students at the Clearfield Career and Technology Center
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup salt
- 1 and 1/4 cup warm water (may need to add a little more)
- 3 to 4 cups of all purpose flour
Take about 1 cup salt and dissolve it in about 1 1/4 cup water (or a little more). Then stir in about 3 to 4 cups flour ( one cup at a time), until it's a nice soft dough.
You can add food coloring to the dough after you put in 1 cup of the flour.
Place flour on a surface and roll out the dough.
You can shape it or cut it out with cookie cutters. Let it harden or bake it at 200 degree F until hard.
If you want to preserve your artwork, use a polyurethane coating.
