Prospector's Allegheny Rib Company Pulled Pork Sandwich

Ingredients for the Dry Pork Rub
They are roughly equal parts--but you can adjust for your taste
  • Paprika
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Onion Powder
  • Course Black Pepper
  • Brown Sugar
  • Cayenne Pepper (optional)
  • Liquid Smoke
Pour liquid smoke over pork and then mix together dry ingredients and rub over the pork.
For this recipe we used an 8lb pork roast. Kevin recommends cooking the roast for 45 minutes per pound. After the pork is cooked, shred with a fork. Serve on a toasted bun with Cole slaw topping.
