12 year old Alison has had a full and fun summer. She says she did, "pretty much what anyone else would do. I spent time with my family and read books."

This Altoona tweener will be heading into 7th grade at Altoona Junior High next week.
Alison likes most things about school "I like math and reading, " she adds.

She's waiting for a new Big Sister to share walks and talks. And get to know each other and each other's interests. "I like many different colors, rainbow colors and I just like spending time with my family and I love horses."

For now, Alison's getting ready for school, reading and developing a new firendship with a Big.
