12 year old Savannah and I decided to find a cool treat at the Clearfield County fair. This soon to be 7th grader was a quick study. "Its nice on these warm days, thats for sure, "says Dan the owner of Millers Hawaiin Ice. She even finished the first one by herself. This summer, Savannahs been enjoying swimming and reading; a lot of reading. "Ive read some books. Ive finished almost a whole series of books this summer and I came to the fair," says Savannah. Soon it was Savannahs turn to create her own masterpiece. Savannah would like a Big Sister to pal around with. She says it would be fun to "go swimming, read, draw, go shopping." For this Clearfield middle schooler, this summer treat is extra-cool when its home-made.
