Curve Get Thumped by Senators

The Curve fell victim to the Harrisburg Senators 9-3 Friday night in game two of a four game series at Blair County Ballpark. Harrisburg scored five runs in the sixth inning to break the game open highlighted by Edgardo Biez’s RBI triple. Senator’s 3B Joel Guzman hit his ninth home run of the year in a 2-for-4 night while shortstop Freddie Bynum went 3-for-4 at the plate. Pirates No. 3 prospect Jose Tabata extended his career high hitting streak to 11 games after going 2-for-4 and driving home two runs for the Curve.  While No. 1 prospect Pedro Alvarez continued his offensive surge with another multi hit game going 2-for-4.
