Curve Lose Finale with R-Phils in Reading

The Altoona Curve pounded out 12 hits and produced three runs but in the end it wasn't enough as the R-Phils scored in the bottom of the 11th to win 4-3 Friday night in Reading. Brian Friday and Steve Lerud each had RBIs in the loss. Altoona begins a series with the Bowie BaySox Saturday at Blair County Ballpark.
