Meet Charlie. This 8 year old Altoona little is helping me work on my short game.
We got our putter and balls and headed out on the Meadows miniature golf course in Duncansville.
Charlie's active in many things. "I already have two dirt bikes and hot wheels," he said.
While we both needed some help with this game, Charlie was a quick learner.
He'd love to pal around with a Big Brother this summer to play with monster trucks and play with hot wheels.
Whether it's giving of your precious time and in return getting the priceless gift of friendship, or swinging a club to help this mentoring organization, think about getting involved.
The 12th year Annual Pepsi/Sheetz Golf Classic and Leonard S. Fiore, Inc. New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. $5,000 Reception and Drawing will be held at Iron Masters Country Club in Blair County on Monday, July 27th.
The day begins with a lunch - noon tee time and a dinner and prizes for all the golfers.
This is the largest fund-raising event for this mentoring organization.
