CRESSON, CAMBRIA COUNTY - People have expressed concern that students will be driving to drink instead of walking to downtown bars this State Patty's day weekend. That's because many downtown bars are refusing to sell alcohol on Saturday to cut down on the wild partying.

At a nearby college Wednesday afternoon students were learning about the dangers of drinking and driving. Mount Aloysius College invited PennDOT in just a couple weeks before Spring Break, hoping they'll take the anti drinking and driving message with them.

They brought a drinking and driving simulator. It works like a video game with an interactive screen, a steering wheel, and working pedals. But as PennDOT spokesperson Pam Kane says in the game if you crash you can reset the game, but if you crash in real life you, you go to jail or die. The game simulates that by showing the consequences at the end of the simulation.

Students who took the simulation say it's a way to experience a dangerous lesson without actually being in danger.
