BURNSIDE TOWNSHIP, CENTRE COUNTY - The Department of Agriculture is investigating a case of animal cruelty in Centre County. 

Police say several beef cattle living on a farm in Burnside Township are deprived of food and several have died as a result. 

The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
