PAINT TOWNSHIP, SOMERSET COUNTY--- Salesmen at Cover Chevrolet helped police capture a fugitive Monday.

Early Monday morning police said William Loomis took off on a stolen ATV down Rt. 56.

"Our officers chased him and he went off the road into the woods," said Detective Daniel Croyle with the Paint Township Police Department.

A few hours later a suspicious man showed up at the Cover dealership asking to use the phone.

"He was soaking wet, he seemed shady," said Lewis Skiles, Cover Sales Manager.  "Something just seemed off so I called police."

Just as police were making their way down Chevy Drive, Loomis tried to take off but was captured by an employee who tackled him to the grown.

"I just went after him out the door," said Mark Haynal, a Cover salesman.

The employees at the dealership said they're not heroes they would just do what anyone else would do, 'Cover's got you Covered.'

Loomis is in the Somerset County jail.
