Angels 4 Pirates 3, 10 innings

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Erick Aybar singled home the
winning run in the tenth inning to carry the L-A Angels to a 4-to-3
win and and a three-game sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Jose
Molina drove in two runs for the A-L West-leading Angels, who now
have an eight-game cushion over Seattle.

Pirates closer Matt Capps is 3-and-4 with the loss. He was
working his second inning of relief and gave up a one-out double to
Howie Kendrick. After an intentional walk and a flyout, Aybar sent
a line drive into the right field corner that bounced over the
short fence, giving the Angels their fourth straight victory.

The Pirates have lost five straight, matching their longest skid
this season.
