The weather ups and downs continue. This morning a last piece of energy rotates through the region giving us a fresh coating up to a couple of inches of snow. It tapers to just a few scattered rain or snow showers in spots late in the morning. Then a quick melt as it turns abruptly warmer with highs by the early afternoon in the low to mid 40s.
Once the system exits, it turns a little bit colder for tonight with lows in the upper 20s to around 30. There will be some scattered snow showers around.
Tomorrow highs will be in the upper 30s to around 40. There will be some scattered snow showers. Then on Friday, temps will continue a gradual decline, only rising into the mid 30s. There will be some flurries or a snow shower around as well.
Saturday we'll have clouds and just a few breaks at times. Highs will be in the low to mid 30s with flurries or a snow shower. Sunday will be in the low 30s with some leftover flurries.
