Updated Monday Morning, January 21st
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

Today will be colder with highs in the mid 20s to the northwest.  It will get into the upper 20s to the low 30s in southeastern zones.  A clipper system will give us some light snow with perhaps a fresh coating,  & as much as 1-3" through tonight in some of the ridges.  Winds will increase to around 15-20 mph.

Tonight will be downright frigid with winds gusting at times to as much as 25-35 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the single digits, and we will have windchills falling to below zero.  As a result, the National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Indiana, Cambria, Jefferson & Somerset counties for tonight.  Wind chills will fall into the -10 to -20 degree range.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy and windy with some snow shower and flurries around.  The day will be very cold with highs ranging from 10 - 15 degrees.

Wednesday expect clouds and some sun with a couple of snow showers around.  Highs will be in the mid to upper teens.  On Thursday some early sun will fade behind increasing clouds late in the day.  Highs will be in the upper teens.

By Thursday night or Friday a storm system approaches the region.  While it is still a little early to tell, we will closely monitor it since the current projection of that storm brings the chance for some heavy snow to the region.
