Cold air will be over the region for the next several days. The first of several disturbances will move through Monday, bringing snow showers and squalls in the afternoon. Accumulations will be highest west of route 219 and north of I-80, with 3-5" snow and more the closer to Lake Erie you go. Along the I-99 corridor communities could see 1-3" snow with a trace-1" east of the mountains.

The coldest period of the week will be behind that disturbance. Colder arctic air will push in, sending low temperatures into the single digits and highs in the teens. The wind chill will drop below zero during this period, so bundle up. There will be snow on occasion during that time, but no widespread snow.

Wednesday will be relatively calm with temperatures still in the teens. Another disturbance will move in Wednesday evening, bringing periods of snow. We will warm into the 20s Thursday ahead of a disturbance for that evening and Friday. Cold air will again flow in behind that disturbance, keeping temperatures in the low to mid 20s for next weekend.
