Slot Revenue Up in 2012

HARRISBURG - Slot revenues are up again in Pennsylvania.

The Gaming Control Board says slot revenue for 2012 was almost $2.5 billion. That's up 2.7% from the year before. This is the sixth year that slot machine revenue has gone up.

Officials estimate the tax revenue from the slots was more than $1.3 billion.

Pennsylvania first started slot machine gambling in November 2006.
