Winners of the 2010 DelFest Bluegrass Band Competition, the Tussey Mountain Moonshiners hail from State College, PA, honoring the bluegrass traditions of the region. On stage they bring a captivating mix of traditional and unique, original songs, and a friendly connection with the audience.

Band members Stephen Buckalew, Bryan Homan, Gwen Stimely and Paul Brigman stopped by the CPAL studio to play a toe-tapping tune, and talk about their upcoming concert.

The Tussey Mountain Moonshiners will be part of the First Night Activities in State College.  You can ring in the New Year with the group at the University Baptist and Brethren Church (411 South Burrowes Street, State College) at 8:00 p.m.
