ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - The Humane Society gets in the chili business to raise money for their officers.

Saturday night was the Central PA Humane Society Chili Fest and Wings. The fundraiser is to help the humane society police force to upgrade to a digital radio.

Every wing and bowl of chili sold helps the humane society officers get closer to the digital upgrade they need to stay current and communicate with the 911 office and other departments in the field.
