Brannan Wins District 6 Golf Crown

Hollidaysburg senior, Sean Brannan won the District 6 Boys Golf Championship Tuesday, posting a final-round 67 at Scotch Valley Country Club, 1 shot off his personal best at his home course.  Brannan's two-day total of 3-under par cleared the rest of the field by 10 shots.

Teammate, Anthony DeGol finished 2nd, pacing the Tigers to a fourth straight team title.  Somerset's Joe Zurvansky was third and qualifies for regionals along with Jim Ferguson of Tryone, State College's Rob Holdcroft and Will McMahon from Penn Cambria.

in District 5, Brant Mollars won the boys title while helping Conemaugh Township to the team championship.  North Star's Sara Pelesky won the girls crown.
