Spikes Split Double-Header with Aberdeen

State College Spikes Split Aberdeen Double-Header

Spikes pitcher, Tony Watson improved to 6-0 Wednesday night in game one of the double-header with the Ironbirds.  The Spikes won the opening game, 5-2. 

In the nightcap, Penn State grad, Matt Cavagnaro hit his second home run of the season, but Aberdeen's Tyler Henson's RBI double in the bottom of the 8th was the difference as the Ironbirds won game 2, 5-4.

The Spikes round out their series with Aberneen Thursday night at 7:05.  For more information, click here.
