Updated: Thursday Evening, March 7th
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

An upper level low pressure system spinning off of the New England Coastline dominated our weather today and will continue to be an influence on our weather through tomorrow morning. This system brought more clouds than sunshine today with scattered ran and snow showers. Tonight will remain brisk and chilly with a good deal of clouds and scattered snow showers and flurries. There still could be some rain drops mixed in through the evening hours and then a fresh covering of snow is possible in spots later tonight. Friday will be windy and chilly. The day will likely start off with a good deal of clouds with the possibility for a couple of flurries but then the rest of the day will feature clouds breaking for some sunshine. The chilly wind will subside Friday night as a ridge of high pressure settles over the region. Saturday will start off seasonably chilly but then sunshine will help boost temperatures to near 50. Sunday will be even milder despite sunshine giving way to some clouds. The next front will bring some rain showers Sunday night into Monday and then will stay stalled close to the area through the middle of next week. With the front close by, Tuesday into Wednesday will probably feature a good deal of clouds with scattered showers.
