Boy Scouts Vote Delay

By: WTAJ NEWS
Updated: February 6, 2013

It's too complex, that's what national Boy Scout leaders said today about the divisive issue of lifting the ban on gay scouts and leaders.

The organization decided to postpone their decision until their annual meeting in May saying they need to review membership policies.

Gay rights groups and other critics want the organization to lift the ban.

Some religious groups and conservatives say allowing gay members would destroy the organization by diluting the Boy Scout message of morality.
