Train Hits Teen Walking on Tracks

BRATTON TOWNSHIP, MIFFLIN COUNTY -- A teenager was life-flighted out of Mifflin County Sunday afternoon after being hit by a train.

The 9-1-1 call went out just after noon for emergency crews to respond to the Horningford Road area of Bratton Township. 

9-1-1 confirmed a 19 year man was life-flighted from a Mcveytown business lot.

Norfolk-Southern is leading this investigation and said the pedestrian was in the tracks when the train hit him.
