SOMERSET COUNTY -- A man accused of killing his girlfriend won't go to court for the first time until next year.

Jonathan Beal's preliminary hearing was scheduled for Thursday, but was continued to February.  The 23-year-old is accused of strangling 19-year old Justine Jackson and then burying her body in a shallow grave.

Her body was discovered outside of Glade City after she was missing for two months.  Beal was arrested in Louisiana two weeks ago.  He remains in jail.
