Updated: June 12, 2012
BLAIR COUNTY, PA -  Tuesday evening's series opener between the Curve and Trenton Thunder at Peoples Natural Gas Field has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up on Wednesday, June 13 as part of a doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m.

Fans who had tickets to Tuesday night's (June 12th) contest at Peoples Natural Gas Field can exchange them for any other remaining 2012 Altoona Curve game for equal or lesser value based on availability.

The Curve and Thunder will now open their series on Wednesday with a 5:00 p.m. first pitch for the doubleheader, and both games on the night will be seven-inning contests. Wednesday is jam-packed at the ballpark on a WALY Four-Pack Wednesday with Cresson Community Night and Postgame Fireworks. The series opener is also a Silver Steamers Club Day presented by Homewood at Martinsburg and a Kids Club Day presented by Galliker's Dairy. Kids Club members are invited to wear crazy hats and hair for Wednesday's twinbill, and following the games, they and Silver Steamers Club members will get to run and stroll around the bases.
