The Pittsburgh Steelers bounced back from last
Sunday's 31-28 loss at Denver by scoring three touchdowns in the
first half of a 24-13 triumph at Cincinnati.
The Bengals led 3-0 until Ben Roethlisberger
threw touchdown passes of 21 and 6 yards to
Hines Ward. Willie Parker gave the Steelers a 21-6 lead by scoring
on a 1-yard run with four seconds left in the first half.
Roethlisberger was 19-of-26 for 230 yards, two touchdowns and
one interception as the Steelers improved to 5-and-2. Ward finished
with eight receptions for 88 yards, and Santonio Holmes had 87
yards on six receptions.
Parker ran for 126 yards on 22 carries, including a 32-yard
scamper.
The 2-and-5 Bengals didn't reach the end zone until Carson
Palmer hit T.J. Houshmandzadeh (hoosh-mand-ZAH'-dah) for a 9-yard
TD early in the fourth quarter.
