Alexander Decommits From FSU

By: Mike Fink
Updated: July 16, 2007
Arguably the most highly recruited football player in the history of Altoona High School is once again up for grabs.  AJ Alexander has backed out of his verbal commitment to Florida State.

The Mountain Lion senior-to-be changed his mind because he says he rushed his decision to put an end to a tiresome recruiting process.
Now he's right back in the middle of it.  He tells 10 News the Seminoles remain in the picture, but Penn State, Tennessee, West Virginia and Virginia Tech are also now in the mix.

He intends to make his first official stops at U-T and V-Tech in the near future.  Alexander has already visited the other 3 schools.
