Johnstown, PA (July 11, 2007)-The
Johnstown Chiefs announced Wednesday that they have agreed to terms with left
wing Randy Rowe, who returns for the 20th anniversary season.
The 27-year old native of Burford, Ontario
will enter his third year with the organization. Last season, he played in 34 games with the
Chiefs, recording 15 goals and 23 assists, which tied him for second on the
team in scoring. He also served as the
team’s co-captain. In two seasons with
the Chiefs, he has 43 goals and 38 assists in 79 games.
“Randy is a guy that will bring
some offensive punch to our lineup. He
has shown that he is a top player in this league and will bring veteran
leadership on and off the ice as well,” stated Chiefs head coach, Ian Herbers.
Before joining the Chiefs, Rowe
played four seasons of junior hockey with the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario
Hockey League (OHL). During that span,
he played in 246 games, scoring 120 goals and 128 assists. In 2000-01, Rowe had an outstanding

to 2004-05. While in Peoria,
he appeared in 248 games, collecting 93 goals and 110 assists.
“I am excited to be coming
