Pirates Lose to Nats 3-2

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Washington's Nationals have snapped a
five-game losing streak with a 3-to-2 win over the Pirates in
Pittsburgh. Jesus Flores won the game for the Nats with a two-run
home run in the sixth inning, giving them a 3-to-0 lead. The blast
was his first in the major leagues.
      Winning pitcher Mike Bacsik allowed two runs in the seventh
before being pulled for a reliever. The win gives him a record of
2-and-5 and is his first victory since May 24th. Chad Cordero
earned his 14th save of the season. Loser Paul Maholm drops to
4-and-11.
