Updated Friday Midday, March 1st
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller
It's a chilly start to March. Temps will be in the low to mid 30s. The average for this time of year is 41. There will be some snow showers on the ridges. In the valleys to the east of I-99 there could be a stray snow shower or some flurries. Otherwise we will have clouds and perhaps a few breaks of sun.
An upper level disturbance will be in place for the first half of the weekend. We'll have a northwesterly brisk wind for tomorrow with highs in the low to mid 30s. There could be some flurries or spotty snow showers tomorrow as well. On Sunday we may see more frequent breaks in the clouds, but it will still be cold with highs only in the upper 20s to the low 30s.
Monday bring a mix of clouds and sun with highs in the low to mid 30s. By Tuesday or Wednesday there is a chance that a mix or snow could move through or just south of the region, but it is still too early to know the exact track of that system.
