Updated Wednesday Midday, February 27th
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller
Most of the system that dropped a new couple of inches of wet, heavy snow this morning has pushed off to the northeast. In its wake, we will have a brief melting period as it turns abruptly warmer with highs by the early afternoon in the low to mid 40s.
Once the system exits, it turns a little bit colder for tonight with lows in the upper 20s to around 30. There will be some scattered snow showers around.
Tomorrow highs will be in the upper 30s to around 40. There will be some scattered snow showers. Then on Friday, temps will continue a gradual decline, only rising into the mid 30s. There will be some flurries or a snow shower around as well.
Saturday we'll have clouds and just a few breaks at times. Highs will be in the low to mid 30s with flurries or a snow shower. Sunday will be in the low 30s with some leftover flurries.
