Clouds will hang tough for a while during the day on Thursday, and because of that it will still be a brisk and cold day with temperatures struggling to reach above 30 in many places. While the clouds will break for a time Thursday night, that break will not last long as the next system will bring thickening cloudiness Friday morning. That next system will bring a mix of rain, ice and perhaps snow later Friday before probably going to just plain scattered rain showers later Friday night into Saturday. Clouds will also try to break for some sunshine Saturday afternoon with highs in the lower 20s. Sunday will likely become partly sunny and it will still be relatively mild with highs in the lower 40s but a lot of that will depend on what happens to a system that will develop well off to our east. If this ends up being a little stronger, it may be a little cooler with a few more clouds and flurries. Monday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with a milder afternoon and highs in the 40s. Another wintry mix is possible Tuesday.
