Updated Monday Midday, January 28th
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

Through this afternoon we will have rain showers.  A few spots to the northeast could still have patches freezing, so be careful through early afternoon, especially on untreated surfaces.  Highs will gradually warm into the upper 30s to around the 40 degree mark by late.

Tonight , temperatures will hold steady then begin to rise as warmer air continues to expand into the region.  By tomorrow morning, some locations will be in the low to mid 40s.  Highs will make it into the low 50s on the western ridges.  In the northeastern valleys, temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s.

Wednesday, a southerly mild windflow will push temps well into the 50s.  Some rain will cross and perhaps there could even be a rumble of thunder as a cold front moves through.  Behind it, the colder temps start to push in again.

Highs on Thursday will be in the mid to upper 30s.  It will be windy with a couple of snow showers.  Friday will be variably cloudy and cold with high temperatures in the mid to upper 20s with some flurries or a couple ridgetop snow showers.
